nw_lumberjanes #12Of course, we make a special effort to make sure female-created & -led books are in the shop year-round, not just during Women in Comics Month 🙂 Here are some that we’re looking forward to checking out this week:

Lumberjanes #12: A shop favorite, Lumberjanes is not only an all female conceived & created book, it also features a cast of adventurous, monster-fighting young women! In this month’s issue, Mal & Molly just want to get back to their friends, but things are looking more dire by the minute. It’s going to be a crazy dash through this weird mixed-up world as they try to not only find a working portal, but one that will take them back to camp! (W)Watters & Stevenson (A/CA)Nowak

Orphan Black #2: This one-of-a-kind book is based on the BBC TV show of the same name, with interior art by Szymon Kudranski & cover art by Cat Staggs.
