This week’s comic rec is Liam Sharp’s Starhenge Book 1: The Dragon and The Boar. Starhenge is a fantasy, sci-fi story about a war to save humanity, with the humans using magic against opposing forces in an effort to save themselves and life as we know it. Issue 1 is out right now, let us know if you’re interested in a copy.

Our other recommendation is week is a one-shot called Barbaric Harvest Blades. This one-shot expands on the action packed Barbaric series by Micheal Morecai, but this one-shot also reads fine on its own and can be enjoyed to its fullest without any knowledge of the original series. Harvest Blades is out now so if you want a copy just let us know!

This week’s comic rec is Do a Power Bomb by Daniel Warren Johnson, the creator of MURDER FALCON and Wonder Woman: Dead Earth. Do a Power Bomb is about a girl who dreams of being a pro wrestler but lives in the shadow of her mother, until a necromancer convinces her to join the greatest pro wrestler tournament of all time. This weeks comic recommendation is Aquaman Andromeda #1 by Ram V and Christian Ward. This new series brings some cosmic-horror into the world of Aquaman and throws Arthur Curry into a whirlwind of psychological terror! #1 comes out 6/7, let us know if you’re interested in a copy!

The next series on our rec list is Poison Ivy (2022) by G. Willow Wilson and Marcio Takara. In this new 6 issue series, Poison Ivy seeks to leave Gotham and deliver a gift to the world by wiping out humanity. This issue comes out 6/7 let us know if you’d like a copy!

This week’s comic rec is Fables #151 by Bill Willingham. Fables is a critically acclaimed series that retells fairy tales in a crime noir fashion. This 12 issue story is coming out just in time for the series’ 20th anniversary and #151 is a great point to jump in for any new readers who’d like to get into the series without going all the way back to #1. Looking for a new series to jump into? Try this weeks comic recs! Our first recommendation for this week is the supernatural murder mystery, Rogue Sun. Rogue Sun is about Dylan Siegel, who inherits the mantle of Rogue Sun from his father Marcus and sets out to protect the world and solve the mystery of his father’s murder. Issue 1 is out now. Let use know if you’re interested in a copy!

Our second recommendation is not a #1 issue but is still a great point to jump in: Something Is Killing The Children #22. This series follows Erica Slaughter, a rogue agent from the house of slaughter. Issue 22 focuses on her investigating a small town being tormented by a serial killer. If you’d like a copy of issue 22 let us know.
