Top Ten Favorite Artists! I’ll be creating 10 posts to help me narrow down my favorite artists because I always find myself saying, ‘oh, they’re in my top 10!’ I’ve said this for at least 30 artists over the past year.
Not for the faint of heart.
Tim Vigil. The definition of under-rated, which is attributed to the subject matter. Tim’s work on Faust got him acclaim in the underground market, but also type-cast him as drawing demonic, hyper-sexual content. Obviously, this tends to keep you off of DC & Marvel’s radar.
His artwork is best viewed in black and white, just check out the image below. Gothic Nights is his magnum opus, just a beautiful, highly detailed piece of art that spans over two issues.
If you’re feeling peckish for some highly detailed artwork with stories that tap into the bowels of hell, this is for you.

Woo hoo, our first store variant is here!  Pick up your copy of New Wave’s 4 Kids Walk into a Bank #1 variant at the shop for only $10 on Wednesday, April 27.  All store variants in the series are in swipes of heist movie posters; New Wave’s is a nod to the classic, Snatch.  Quantities are limited to 250, so don’t delay!

We will be closing at 6pm today, Saturday, February 13. See ya at the shop ’til then!

Our New Year’s hours are as follows:
Thursday, 12/31: 1pm-5pm
Friday, 1/1: closed
Saturday, 1/2: 12pm-6pm

Normal business hours will resume on Sunday, 1/3.

Our Christmas hours are as follows:
Thursday, 12/24: 1pm-5pm
Friday, 12/25: closed
Saturday, 12/26: 12pm-6pm

Normal business hours will resume on Sunday, 12/27.

We will now be open on Tuesdays, beginning August 18. Due to these extended hours, we will also now have customer pulls & new books available as soon as we open on Wednesdays. Please pardon any bumps we may encounter along the way as we implement new stocking & operating processes associated with the new hours.
